One of our most comprehensive House of Lozi project to date, Ilaria wanted to renovate her home head to toe. With two young children and a demanding job, she wanted a practical and welcoming home to come back to, where she could relax and enjoy quality time with her family. Lozi helped to create her ideal home - elegant and simple, yet full of personality.
Ilaria’s long and light living room needed storage space for her vast book collection, as well as space to store her children’s toys. Lozi created a set of three open-plan bookshelves from laminated plywood and solid oak. Ilaria loves to sew and really wanted to dedicate an area to her hobby. To make the most of the space, we created a folding table that cleverly conceals her sewing equipment and an elegant peg board to keep everything organised.
In the kitchen, new birch plywood and maple veneer cabinets make the most of the tight space, giving the family a warm place to cook and enjoy each other’s company. Clever storage solutions make the most of the neat L-shaped kitchen. An elegant wall of tall cupboards line one side, giving the family plenty of space to keep their utensils. The kitchen surfaces are finished in long-wearing grey laminate and the cupboards are finished in light maple veneer. Clever details make this small space more practical - the counter corners are curved and the cupboard handles are sunken in, making the space easier to move around without bumping into things.
In the home office, Ilaria needed further storage for her ample book collection as well as a quiet and peaceful place to work away from the busy distractions of family life. Lozi created a combination of bookshelves, cupboards, a free-hanging desk and open-plan shelving to suit her needs.
Ilaria’s modern white wardrobes currently sit in her home office, opposite her Lozi furniture. Eventually, she plans on turning the room into a second child’s bedroom, so the wardrobes needed to be cool and modern as well as child-friendly. Clean white laminate surfaces keep this wardrobe elegant and discreet and the fun orange handle details add a touch of youthful fun. As with all our designs, the drawer runners are made from solid plywood for extra durability.

After submitting your enquiry and confirming a quote that suits your budget, you'll be allocated one of our highly skilled designer-makers and they will schedule a site visit, where relevant. Based on your requirements and personal style, we'll provide a digital 2-D design to visualise the project outcome. Your designer-maker will ensure the experience is stress-free, supporting important design decisions and providing tailored, design-led solutions. All Lozi furniture is then made in-house and if appropriate, carefully installed by the designer-maker and workshop team.
